ABOUT OUR CHEF

French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli began his career at the age of 14, when he trained as a baker in his home-town of Arras, Northern France.

 

Jean-Christophe arrived in Great Britain in 1983 and spent a year helping his good friend and mentor, Keith Floyd, take care of his pub whilst Keith was away filming his famous TV shows.

 

In 1996, Jean-Christophe opened his first restaurant, Maison Novelli, followed by Novelli W8, Novelli EC1 and Les Saveurs in Mayfair.

 

Novelli Academy - Jean-Christophe's cookery school - opened in February 2005, and was ranked one of the 'Top 25 Cookery Schools in the World' after only one month.

 

Earlier this year, he opened his first British gastropub.

 

Jean-Christophe has accumulated no less than four consecutive Michelin stars, bagged 5 AA Rosettes - - and been voted one of sexiest men in the world by readers of a women's magazine!

 

Having established himself as a TV favourite, Jean-Christophe is guest on Daily Cooks and Saturday Cooks.
